The rise of  cellphone use have risen sharply over the pas several years.
Couple this with the continuous improvement on cellphone camera technology, a DSLR seems too bulky and redundant.  According to  CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association), a Japanese organization that tracks camera sales, DSLR sales have steadily declined.  We gathered data from flickr.com, which keeps and tracks camera raw data, and put the stats on a bar graphs.   You will notice iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones number of users are significantly higher than DSLR users.
